Description
The Neousys NRU-160-AWP Series is a rugged IP66 waterproof edge AI computer designed for engineers deploying vision-based AI systems in outdoor, mobile, and harsh environment applications where exposure to water, dust, salt, and vibration would disable conventional hardware. Powered by NVIDIA Jetson Orin NX delivering up to 100 sparse TOPS INT8 AI inference, or the more cost-effective Jetson Orin Nano, the NRU-160-AWP series transcodes up to eighteen 1080P video streams simultaneously, making it well suited to real-time multi-camera perception tasks. Two models address different camera interface requirements: the NRU-161V-AWP provides six waterproof GMSL2 FAKRA Z connectors with pre-built drivers for Sony IMX390, ISX031, and IMX490 CMOS sensors across multiple field-of-view configurations, while the NRU-162S-AWP provides four IEEE 802.3at PoE+ GbE ports via M12 X-coded connectors for IP or industrial GigE cameras, with 50W total PoE budget. Both models share a waterproof GbE port, two USB 2.0 via M12 connectors, VGA via M12, one CAN FD port, one RS-232 port, and an isolated GPS PPS input, all via rugged M12 A-coded or X-coded connectors. Internal expansion includes one full-size mini PCIe for CAN, COM, or WiFi modules and one M.2 3042/3052 B key for 4G LTE or 5G NR with dual micro SIM. NVMe storage is supported via an M.2 2242 M key PCIe Gen3 slot. The 8 to 35V wide-range DC input with ignition power control via a 5-pin M12 connector makes the NRU-160-AWP ready for vehicle and robotics deployment. MIL-STD-810H vibration and shock ratings alongside CE/FCC Class A EMC compliance complete the rugged credentials.
