The Neousys POC-900 Series represents the latest evolution in Neousys’ compact POC embedded computer family, marking a platform shift to AMD processing with the AMD Ryzen PRO 8640U, a 6-core 12-thread processor operating at 3.5 to 4.9 GHz with a scalable 15W to 30W TDP. The integrated 16 TOPs NPU and AMD Radeon RDNA3 graphics deliver a combined 31 TOPs of SoC AI compute, enabling on-device inference for machine vision, smart city analytics, and edge AI workloads far exceeding the capabilities of prior POC generations. Memory support has been enhanced to up to 32 GB DDR5-5600 SDRAM, and an M.2 2280 M-Key socket with PCIe Gen4 x4 provides fast NVMe SSD storage access to keep pace with the higher processing throughput. Despite these advances, the POC-900 retains the identical 64 x 116 x 176 mm footprint and DIN rail mounting design as the POC-700 and POC-500, ensuring direct drop-in compatibility for existing installations seeking a performance upgrade. Four Gigabit Ethernet ports via Intel I350-AM4 all carry IEEE 802.3at PoE+ with a power budget of up to 100W across all four ports, ideal for powering connected IP cameras, sensors, and IoT gateways.
