Description
The Neousys Technology NRU-230V-AWP and NRU-240S-AWP are rugged IP66 waterproof edge AI computers built around the NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin system-on-module, which combines an NVIDIA Ampere GPU with an Arm Cortex-A78AE CPU and 32 or 64 GB of LPDDR5 at 3200 MHz, plus 64 GB eMMC storage onboard. With up to 275 sparse TOPS of INT8 AI inference performance and the ability to transcode up to twenty-two simultaneous 1080P video streams, these systems are purpose-built for vision-based AI, ADAS, and industrial inspection workloads in environments where standard embedded computers cannot survive. The NRU-230V-AWP distinguishes itself by adding 8x GMSL2 FAKRA Z connectors supporting automotive cameras including Sony IMX390, ISX031, and IMX490 sensor configurations at up to 5 MP, making it ideal for surround-view perception systems, multi-camera inspection rigs, and agricultural robotics. Both models provide 4x M12 X-coded PoE+ GbE ports with a 100 W total PoE budget for industrial GigE cameras, plus one M12 10GBASE-T port for high-speed upstream data communication. Field connectivity is served by 2x isolated CAN 2.0, 1x RS-232, 1x isolated RS-485, and 2x USB 2.0 via M12 A-coded connectors, alongside a waterproof USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-C port with 4K DisplayPort output. The 8 V to 48 V wide DC input with built-in ignition power control, M.2 B-key socket for 4G/5G modules, two mini-PCIe sockets, and automotive-grade MCU system monitoring port complete an exceptionally capable in-vehicle and outdoor AI platform. MIL-STD-810H vibration and shock ratings, CE/FCC Class A certification, and a fanless operating range down to -40 degrees Celsius with the JAOi module make these systems the right choice for industrial vehicles, outdoor autonomous mobile robots, roadside edge AI, harbor operations, and mining.
