DS105S TP – Compact IP68 Industrial Keyboard with Touchpad by Printec-DS

The Printec-DS DS105S TP is a full-featured compact industrial keyboard integrating 105 keys and a touchpad pointing device into a low-profile 309 x 127 x 16mm unit, purpose-built for the harshest industrial, military, and maritime applications. The silicone rubber keypad is mounted on a rigid metal backplate using carbon contact technology, providing a tactile 1.5mm key travel at 4.5N operating force and a rated key durability of 500,000 cycles per key. The integrated touchpad removes the need for a separate mouse or pointing device, consolidating all HMI input into a single, compact unit that is particularly well suited to space-constrained environments such as shipboard consoles, armoured vehicle workstations, offshore platforms, and industrial control cabinets. Key symbols are applied by laser etching — black-coated with white lettering, UV-coated and abrasion resistant — ensuring long-term readability under intensive daily use in demanding conditions. The DS105S TP achieves IP68 protection class, meeting IEC 60529 requirements for complete dust exclusion, water jet resistance at IPX5, and constant submersion protection at IPX8. It is fully certified to IEC 60945, the international standard governing maritime navigation and radio communication equipment, confirming its suitability for use in naval, offshore, and commercial maritime applications. White LED backlighting is adjustable via two integrated keys, and LED mode indicators provide clear operating status at a glance. USB connectivity offers compatibility with the widest range of industrial and embedded computing systems.
