DS105S TB – Compact IP68 Industrial Keyboard with Trackball by Printec-DS

The Printec-DS DS105S TB is a purpose-designed compact industrial keyboard combining 105 keys with an integrated trackball pointing device, offering engineers and operators complete input control from a single compact unit measuring just 309 x 127 x 16mm. Developed for industrial, military, and maritime environments where space is limited and reliability is critical, the DS105S TB uses a silicone rubber keypad mounted on a rigid metal backplate with carbon contact technology, delivering a tactile 1.5mm key travel at 4.5N operating force and a rated key durability of 500,000 cycles. The integrated trackball eliminates the need for a separate mouse or touchpad, making the DS105S TB particularly well suited to installations where freehand pointing devices are impractical — such as shipboard consoles, vehicle control stations, military command systems, and control cabinets. All key symbols are applied via laser etching with a UV-coated, abrasion-resistant black and white finish, maintaining clear legibility across the product lifetime even under intensive daily use. The IP68 protection class provides complete resistance to dust ingress and protection against continuous water submersion, making the keyboard suitable for wash-down environments and deck-exposed maritime installations. Adjustable white LED backlighting is managed through two dedicated integrated keys, and LED mode indicators confirm active operating states at a glance. USB connectivity ensures compatibility with a wide range of industrial computers and embedded systems. The DS105S TB operates between -30 and +60°C and stores down to -40°C. CE and RoHS compliant.
