Description
The Axiomtek Q7M310 is a Qseven form factor compute module measuring 70 x 70 mm and built on the Intel Apollo Lake platform, offering a choice of Intel Atom x7-E3950 at 2.0 GHz, x5-E3940 at 1.8 GHz, or x5-E3930 at 1.8 GHz processors with SoC-integrated Intel Gen 9 graphics supporting DirectX 11.1, OpenCL 1.2, and OpenGL 4.2. The module ships with up to 4 GB of onboard DDR3L memory in a soldered configuration, eliminating connector failure risks in vibration-prone environments, and an optional 32 GB eMMC provides integrated solid-state storage for OS and application data in sealed designs. Four PCIe x1 expansion lanes provide flexible connectivity for peripheral and communication expansion, and dual SATA-600 interfaces accommodate additional storage devices via the carrier board. Display output is handled by one DDI interface supporting DisplayPort, HDMI, or DVI, and one LVDS interface with 18/24-bit dual-channel support, with an optional eDP interface, enabling dual-view display configurations for HMI and digital signage applications. Networking is provided via an Intel i210-IT Gigabit Ethernet controller supporting Wake-on-LAN and PXE boot. USB connectivity covers two USB 3.0 and four USB 2.0 ports, with an optional configuration providing up to six USB 2.0 ports, and 8-channel GPIO and I2C round out the system interface set. An AMI uEFI BIOS with 65,536-level watchdog timer and hardware monitoring support reliable autonomous operation. Operating from -40°C to +85°C in industrial temperature versions, the Q7M310 is well suited to automation controllers, digital signage nodes, industrial IoT gateways, and medical embedded designs.
