Description
The Kontron KISS 1U V4 ADL is a 1U 19-inch industrial rackmount server built for challenging environments including high-temperature conditions, mechanical stress, and noise-sensitive installations. Powered by 12th and 13th generation Intel Core i9, i7, i5, or i3 series processors and equipped with two DDR5 DIMM slots supporting up to 64 GB of memory, it provides substantial compute headroom for image processing, SCADA/MES, AI inference, and machine learning workloads. The rear I/O panel provides four DisplayPort outputs for multi-monitor configurations, dual LAN with 1 GbE and 2.5 GbE, six USB ports including USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-C with locking option, one RS-232, and audio. Front I/O provides two USB 3.2 ports for convenient operator access. Drive configuration is highly flexible, with front-accessible removable bays accommodating 3.5-inch and 2.5-inch SATA drives in single or RAID configurations including the DA225 and DA225R dual 2.5-inch removable options, alongside internal SATA capacity, one M.2 Key-M NVMe slot, and one M.2 Key-E for WLAN/Bluetooth with CNVi support. One PCIe x16 full height full length expansion slot accommodates optional NVIDIA Quadro T1000 graphics or 10 GbE NICs. A 400 W 80+ power supply, operating temperature of 0 to 50 degrees Celsius, 5000 m altitude rating, CE, FCC, NRTL, and CB IEC 62368-1 certification, and MTBF exceeding 50,000 hours confirm the KISS 1U V4 ADL as a long-term reliable industrial server platform.
