Kontron has announced the VX33211, a 3U VPX GPU board designed to deliver advanced graphics processing, AI acceleration, and high-performance computing in rugged embedded environments.
Based on the NVIDIA® RTX PRO™ 2000 Blackwell Embedded GPU architecture, the VX33211 enables system designers to run demanding workloads directly at the edge. Typical applications include artificial intelligence, image processing, sensor fusion, mission computing, and real-time data analysis in defense and aerospace systems.
The board is designed for deployment in harsh environments and supports rugged VPX architectures commonly used in mission-critical platforms. Built in accordance with SOSA®-aligned OpenVPX profiles, the VX33211 helps simplify integration while supporting interoperability across modern defense systems.
With dedicated AI acceleration capabilities, high-bandwidth memory, and support for parallel processing workloads, the platform is intended for applications such as ISR systems, radar and sonar processing, electronic warfare, electro-optical and infrared systems, and training and simulation environments.
