CompactPCI (cPCI)

The TEWS Technologies TCP270 is a passive 3U CompactPCI carrier board that adapts a single-width PMC module for use in CompactPCI systems, supporting 32-bit/33 MHz PCI bus access and conforming to PICMG 2.0 Rev 3.0. With both front panel I/O and optional rear I/O at the J2/P2 connector per PICMG 2.3 R1.0, it is designed for defence, aerospace, and industrial embedded computing integrators building flexible and cost-effective I/O solutions with PMC devices. The TEWS Technologies TCP469 is a standard 3U 32-bit CompactPCI module providing eight fully isolated, individually programmable RS232, RS422, and RS485 serial channels based on the Exar XR17D158 octal UART. Each channel is galvanically isolated from the system and from all other channels via digital isolators and an onboard DC/DC converter, with ESD protection up to ±15 kV and baud rates up to 5.5296 Mbps on RS422/RS485.
