We are looking for a new team player – Key Account Manager – Stockholm

You currently work with consultative technical sales and have probably done so for 5 years or more, you have good technical competence in industrial networks and today probably work with major Swedish industrial companies in industrial automation (industry 4.0). You will be primarily responsible for sales in industrial data communications, but the entire Recab product portfolio is available. We therefore see it as an advantage if you also have knowledge and experience of one of our other product groups: Embedded Computer Systems and Sensor & Vision

Our sales often consist of complex business / projects and you understand the importance of listening and understanding the customer’s needs and we therefore like to see that you as a person are solution oriented. You have great patience as the time from first contact to end often takes a year or more.

You like to work independently and are motivated by having clear goals to achieve. You have a habit of managing larger customer accounts in business to business and since decisions are often made by the company’s management or people in a leading position, you must feel comfortable in that role and have good negotiation skills. You are open, social, and appreciated by your customers.

Tasks as a Key Account at Recab:

  • In the role, you take over a number of existing customers and are responsible for these, but new customer processing is an important part of the daily work.
  • Consult customers through the sales process by offering Custom-of-the-Shelf (COTS) products and customized solutions.
  • Close cooperation with our suppliers in the area is of the utmost importance for understanding products and new technology. This role will include being responsible for sales of products for one of Recab’s largest suppliers.
  • Proactively run the own sales process, including pre-sales activities and follow-up work.
  • You will have a budget responsibility for your own sales at the same time as you work closely with the rest of the team.
  • As our customers are located throughout Sweden, some trips will occur with hotel nights. You will work in an international environment as our partners come from Europe, the USA and Asia, which can also mean some travel abroad.

Your Profile and skills:

  • Documented sales experiences and results
  • A relevant technical education is an advantage in combination with sales experience
  • Documented experience of Key Account Management with a self-sustaining
    business development ability.
  • Experience: Solution-oriented technical sales in networks for 5 years or more and good knowledge in IT in general.
  • Experience in electronics, PC HW / BIOS / FW, networking, mechatronics, EMC / EMI, cyber security, Windows / Linux / RTOS, is a plus
  • External & competitor monitoring– has a proactive drive to understand the latest products and technologies available in the market, and the ability to leverage market information after consulting with customers about their product needs.
  • Communication skills – excellent ability to give presentations.
  • English is the company language, and it is also a requirement to master a Scandinavian language.
  • Teamwork – working as part of the sales team and together with our engineers in-house, as well as external suppliers and customers is an important part of the role. You will be our new Team Player
